With a country music institution, an annual charity shindig at the Albert Hall, a spot of folky pop and some noisy rock, there's something for everyone on sale today. Well, almost. Tickets to all these gigs should be available from around 9 or 10am.
- No doubt attracting an army of blonde-wigged fans, country music institution Dolly Parton visits The O2 on 7 September. If the prospect of a 9 to 5 singalong doesn't gladden your heart a little, you must really hate country. Tickets on sale here.
- The annual Concerts for Teenage Cancer Trust were announced this week. From 21 - 27 March, acts including Roger Daltrey, Beady Eye (Liam Gallagher's new project), Biffy Clyro and Editors will grace the Royal Albert Hall. It's a stunning venue and it's for charity, so check the full line up and get tickets now.
- Noah and the Whale won a lot friends with their first two albums. Back in London on 16 May in support of a third record, their upbeat folk should make The Roundhouse feel more intimate than its size suggests. Tickets available here.
- Reformed duo Death From Above 1979 play their first UK gig for five years on 5 May. The dirty rockers could turn the HMV Forum in Kentish Town into a sweaty, ear-ringing mess. Expect a ferociously primal sound that could spark riots. Or one hell of a mosh pit, at least. Get tickets now.
- Islington's Union Chapel provides such beautiful surroundings that we couldn't resist this: Tim Burgess and Mark Collins from The Charlatans head over to the octagonal venue on 16 March. Find tickets here to appreciate the atmosphere and delicacy of this acoustic show.
