ICA Live Weekend Preview: Notation And Interpretation

Following last weekend's radio sit-com, the ICA goes live again with experimental music from today until Sunday.

Tomorrow, find out how the brain deals with beat boxing and sit through performances courtesy of Kammer Klang looking at interpretation, including classics reworked on a Casio keyboard. You can also peruse an exhibition of innovative musical notation.

On Saturday, Serge Vuille plays compositions by John Cage on his own body and there's a free concert showcasing what happens when classical orchestration meets early dance music.

Following interactive workshops with those who booked in advance, hear free performances from a giant, custom constructed, modular synthesiser on Sunday afternoon, from Dirty Electronics.

ICA Live Weekend: Notation and Interpretation runs until Sunday 20 February. Most of it's free, some things require booking - please check the website.
