Exhibition Review: A’ Urban Abstract by Remi/Rough and Steve More

Opening tonight and running only until 6 February, A’ Urban Abstract features works by Remi/Rough and Steve More, a couple of movers and shakers in the urban abstract movement. The show offers two divergent styles that nonetheless seem to play off the other with mutual respect and appreciation. An uncompromising mix of graffiti grit and studio contemplation, the exhibition's focus on self-expression and gorgeous colour draws the viewer in, allowing you to come to your own conclusions. Those in the arty-know, but perhaps unaware of Remi and More wouldn't be amiss to expect paintings and mixed media pieces along the lines of Jose Parla and a less figurative Adam Neate.
