What's On In London At The Weekend? 14-16 January

  • Vintage Secret is having a sale in London Fields: @vintagesecret says "I am emptying VS towers of pretty much everything. Time for a fresh start! London Fields. Sale 1.30-6.00pm."
  • Take the kids to Museum of London Docklands for the first Docklands Tales, all about Frost Fairs. Free, at 12.30 and 2.30pm.
  • There's another CoolTan Arts Largactyl Shuffle exploring the mental health history of Southwark. Gather at noon at Maudsley Hospital the walk is 5 miles and finishes at Burgess Park. Free but donations appreciated.
  • The final day of the London Acapella Festival at Kings Place, York Way NW1 sees free singing in the foyer followed by concerts from local choir Eclectic Voices at 6.30pm and Swingles and Friends at 8pm.
  • Check out the 33% Festival at Oval House Theatre.
  • Tickets are still available for the Dino Snores sleepover at the Natural History Museum. Take 5 children and spend the night at the museum.
  • It's Open House at Wilton's Music Hall from 7.30pm. Go and explore the old dear to a 1930s soundtrack.
  • 1920s themed speakeasy Candlelight Club pops up with a little help from the Green Fairy. Tickets are £15 but very limited!
  • Unskinny Bop wants you dancing at the Star of Bethnal Green, E1. 9pm-2am, £5 in.

Sunday:

  • Discover the life and music of Vaughan Williams with the LSO Discovery Day at Barbican in the morning and St Luke's in the afternoon. The morning rehearsal stars "Andrew Preview" conducting. The big evening concert programme in Barbican Hall includes Williams' Symphony No. 5 as well as Strauss' Don Quixote. Discover Day starts at 10am, £16. Evening concert tickets start from just £8.
  • Wassail! at Chiswick House and Gardens, W4 2RP with cider and sparklers. 3-5pm, free.
