Will it be Tottenham Hotspur or West Ham United? The decision over which football club will move into/demolish the Olympic stadium, originally due on Friday, has been delayed.
The Olympic Park Legacy Company needs more time to weigh up the pros and cons of the two applications. In the white and blue corner, Spurs would demolish the stadium and build afresh. In the claret and blue corner, the Hammers would retain the ground, including its athletics track. There's also the third possibility, that neither side gets a new home and the ground is converted into a smaller mixed-use stadium.
There's no word yet on when we can expect a final answer. We refer the legacy committee to Diamond Geezer, whose crystal ball offers two possible futures for the Stratford venue.
