Santa's Lap: RMT Christmas Cards

Every day until Christmas the Londonist team will be pointing you in the direction of a Christmas present that (with a bit of luck) you won’t already have on your list. Climb up onto our collective lap and we’ll see what we can move from our sack to your stockings…

We always knew Bob Crow was an old softie. Those loveable rogues at the Rail and Maritime Transport union, the group partly responsible for many of the Tube strikes that regularly plague London's transport network, are selling Christmas cards on their website.

The details are scant, but if you scroll a little way down the front page of the union's website you'll be treated to a fine image of a group of Santas posing with an 'RMT Official Picket' sign, along with the number to call if you want to order them (£5 for a pack of ten). It might be the ideal gift for your more die hard Marxist mates, but anybody who's been forced to struggle into work during a strike might fail to see the funny side.

Alternatively, if you're one David Miliband, it might make the perfect card to give your kid brother.

Browse previous Santa’s Lap entries for inspiration and check out Christmas Markets and Fairs around town for festive shopping opportunities.
