Is Twitter Moving To Old Street?

Twitter is set to open an office in London, reports the Sunday Telegraph. Representatives of the company are scouting properties in the West End and Shoreditch but are reportedly ‘under pressure’ to lay their hat in the ‘Silicon Roundabout’ area, AKA Old Street. As widely reported last month, the area is gearing itself up as a tech hub, digitally wallowing in £400 million of government investment.

The new office would be the firm’s first outside of the States. It would focus on building advertising and sponsorship business for the much-used-but-financially-greasy service. The company are hoping to move in next year.

Try Googling the phrase “what is the point of twitter”, if you still don’t understand the concept of the web service after all this time and press coverage.

And then they will all no doubt realise that there is no point to their lives, close their new flashy London offices, run back to the USA smash up their servers with cro bars and become doctors.

Yeah, I bet they really hate having all that money.
