Third Contender For Olympic Stadium

A third contender has emerged in the bidding for the post Games Olympic Stadium. West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur face a challenge from International Stadia Group who presented to the Olympic Legacy Company last week. It is thought ISG, which has to date specialised in funding solutions for stadium building, would run the stadium without a football tenant and bring flagship events, such as UK NFL games, to Stratford.

Meanwhile, local residents have helped green the approach to the Stadium. Jasmine, willow, Virginia creepers and gorse bushes have been planted along the resurfaced and widened Greenway which leads to the ViewTube and prime views of the Olympic Park in progress.
