Following his appearance on BBC2’s Masterchef and celebrating the launch of his new book, NOMA: Time and Place in Nordic Cuisine, chef and restauranteur René Redzepi will be at Freemasons' Hall this Friday, November 12th, cooking and talking about the inspiration and philosophy behind his innovative Nordic cuisine and his rise to culinary fame.

Back in April - after four years of Spain’s el Bulli at the top of the heap - Noma (where Redzepi is chef and co-owner) was voted the world’s best restaurant by the highly regarded S. Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards. Redzepi is noted for reinventing and refining Nordic cuisine and for "food that is characterized by inventiveness and clean flavours”.

Freemasons' Hall is located at 60 Great Queen Street, WC2B 5AZ. Doors open at 17.30 for 18.30, Friday 12 November. Tickets are on sale now, priced at £38 and include a free copy of the book. The event will be reserved seating, will run for approximately 90 minutes and will be followed by a book signing by the chef.
