Peckham Literary Festival presents wondrous storyteller, Sally Pomme Clayton celebrating the launch of her new book, Rama and Sita with some spellbinding tales and general chit chat by the bubbling samovar. Free, 7.15pm.
Round the corner, up the road, explore Nollywood - the shoestring Nigerian film industry - at South London Gallery, Peckham Road SE5 8UH. Adekunle Detokunbo-Bello talks about his work, 7pm, free. Booking recommended.

Sunday: Celebrate the birthday of visionary poet and part time naturist William Blake with the Blake Society in the Clore Auditorium at Tate Britain, Millbank between 3.30-5.30pm. There will be swift performances ranging through music, film, scholarship and revelation, including the world premiere of Ray Winstone's short film 'Jerusalem'. We hope there will also be cake. Monday: The Photographers Gallery may be shut but their social evenings continue. Tonight they focus on social media and advertising between 6.30-9pm at Barrio Central, Poland Street W1 8PS. Free, no booking required but get there early to secure a seat.
