Illumini Return With 'Underground Christmas' Show

Fans of the hypogeal rejoice. Illumini, who masterminded this summer's Secret Subterranean London exhibition at Shoreditch Town Hall, are back with more sub-surface showmanship. They've bagged the catacombs beneath St Pancras Church, Euston Road for an alternative Christmas grotto (almost apologetically entitled 'Crypt-mas'). The torch-lit experience will feature projections, art work, tomb stones and...well, an installation that sounds like the basis of a low-budget horror film:

Hidden deep inside - Illumini’s very own Father Crypt-mas an art installation based on a futuristic, robotic Santa. He is there to greet all his guests from young to old, with surprises for the children.

It's all free, and you can turn up when you like on 3-22 December between 11am and 7pm. There's also a big gala opening night, but expect long queues if the Shoreditch show is anything to go by.
