Comedy Preview: Stand Up For Burma On Brick Lane

burmastandup.jpg The release of Aung San Syu Kyi this week caused widespread euphoria. But, as Amnesty International remind us, there are still at least 2,200 political prisoners in Burma. Helping to keeping them in the spotlight, the Islington and Hackney Amnesty International group host "Another Joke Too Far - Stand Up for Burma", a benefit stand-up comedy night for Burmese political prisoners featuring a bounty of smart comedy talent in the shape of Robin Ince, Chris Neill, Gavin Osborn and Bridget Christie. Tuesday 23 November from 7:30pm at 93 Feet East, 150 Brick Lane, London E1. Buy tickets, £12.
