Bus Drivers Trained In Conflict Resolution

No matter how surly you think London bus drivers are, dealing with the general public and an unwieldy bendy is enough to drive the most patient soul to distraction. TfL are taking steps to help reduce the number of attacks on bus drivers by giving them conflict management training though, sadly, we don't think this involves the use of a harpoon gun and a large net on unruly passengers. Unlike tube drivers, they don't have a nice sturdy door separating them from the frustrated delayed, irate, drunk or just plain objectionable on public transport so it's no surprise that sometimes bus drivers are on the receiving end of attacks.
