As artist, jeweller and sculpter, Andrew Logan was amongst the very first to transform recycled materials into works of art. In a seemingly never-ending stream of creativity, he creates a paradoxical world of wonder, intrigue and total over-the-top splendour. Rejoice focuses on his sculptures; where mythical beasts and huge glass mosaic portraits glitter and shine, drawing you into worlds within worlds at every angle.
In true exuberant and playful style (he is the force behind the one and only 'Alternative Miss World') the opening night on Saturday began with a troupe of his outrageously bejewelled and bedecked friends acting out the elements of Earth, Fire, Air and Water before dispersing amongst the crowd, making for a surreal fairytale environment and the most joyfully eccentric evening we've had for quite some time.
