Judges Simon Baker of Tate, Mike Seaborne of Museum of London and Brett Jefferson-Stott of Shoot Experience selected five fine photographs for special commendations. However, our guest speaker, Paula Middlehurst of Sky News, was spot on when she noted that whilst the judges picked beautiful and technical shots, all the photos deserved recognition. The chosen pictures tell true stories reflecting the authentic experience of living and working in and around the Thames. They span the beauty, dirt and pollution and capture the people, industry, leisure and transport that are integral to London’s riverscape.
Thanks also to Miriam and Andy at Foyles, Brett and Hannah at Shoot Experience, Vicky Lee and Mike Seaborne at Museum of London, Anna Ridley and Simon Baker at Tate, the nice people at Photomonth 2010, Kerry Maisey, Alli Ball, Paula Middlehurst, Dylan Summers, LDN Creative and the Londonist team.
Your feedback on this year’s project and exhibition would be very welcome, as would your ideas for 2011′s challenge.
