Kings Cross Tube Victim 'Groundbreaking' Human Rights Solicitor

KC.jpg The man who died under a Piccadilly Line train earlier this week has been named as David Burgess, a top solicitor who worked on key immigration and human rights cases. Burgess also had a second and well-known life in the transgender community where he was known as Sonia. His work was described as 'groundbreaking' and included the 1993 case where ex-Home Secretary Kenneth Baker was held in contempt after defying a court order banning the deportation of an asylum seeker.
