Thames Clipper Evening Services Cut

thamesclipper2710.jpg River commuters watch out: as of Monday 1 November, timetable changes truncate your evening services. The last westbound boat will leave Embankment at 21.10 rather than 23.58 and the last eastbound leaves Royal Arsenal Woolwich at 20.15 rather than 23h - both on weekdays and weekends.

Sure, the evenings are now dark and the weather's turning wintry but a river trip inside a Clipper - optionally with a G&T in hand - is a mighty civilised and direct way to get between the West End, Docklands and Greenwich. The revised timetable teases its passengers with its "fastest fleet on the river" strapline yet come the Christmas party, Thames commuters will be homing it slowly on the night bus and last tubes with the rest of us.Gig goers at the O2 need not fear though. Services back from North Greenwich on gig nights will run 20 minutes after your event, stopping at all major piers to Central London.Download the new timetable (PDF) at www.thamesclippers.com
