Many would agree that, since winning the bid for the 2012 Olympics, London hasn't exactly covered itself in glory when it comes to marketing and design.
Which is a shame, as Britain is home to some talented designers. Take Alan Clarke. Drawing inspiration from the justly celebrated examples of London Underground poster design in its pre- and post-war heyday, Clarke has fashioned a series of navigational posters to help guide visitors and locals to the various Games venues.
Sadly, the posters were created as part of a degree project, and aren't likely to be used by TfL.
