Next time you’re wandering through Hackney, look out for this sardonic scrawl. Street artist Pure Evil is daubing posters, walls and even abandoned furniture with the slogan ‘Beautiful Hackney’. Let us know if you spot any more.

    I noticed this ‘amended poster’ next to the ghost bike (Ninian Donald, died May 4, 2007
    Aged 33) and I wasn’t sure if ‘beautiful Hackney’ was ironic as I suspected or in some way a tribute or possibly not connected to the ghost bike…? Got some more pix, shall upload/link shortly
