It was a case of getting the sunglasses out for the first part of Christophe Kane's show. Neons were used for what would have otherwise been rather lovely dresses, jackets and skirts. It's difficult to imagine who would wear such garish creations, especially when teamed with pringle patterned knitwear. It wasn't until the last few pieces that we could see why Kane's celebrity is rising. These beautifully embellished garments were quite breathtaking.
At the heart of Ada Zanditon's “Conceptual yet wearable designs” lies her commitment to using sustainable and ethically manufactured textiles. Innovative and stylish, her pyramid inspired theme was just fantastic. Excellent use of different fabrics in golds, oranges, fawns created stunning sculptured and textured garments that oozed futuristic sophistication. The modular, and rather wonderful 'Mojito' shoe by architect Juliam Hakes completed this very exciting, forward thinking collection.Keep up with our LFW coverage hereLondon Fashion Week S/S11: Christopher Kane And Ada Zanditon
