If you've not been along to Shoreditch Town Hall for the Illumini show, try and get out at lunch or early evening. It's well worth it. You'll find a memorable set of installations celebrating London's hidden underbelly. As you creep around the catacombs beneath the Victorian hall, you'll encounter sewer rats, prison cells, a Mithraic temple, secret tunnels, war bunkers and much else besides. We particularly liked the embroidered Tube map by artist Lucy Sparrow, pictured above.
It all ends at 7pm tonight, so do your best to visit. Entrance is free.
