Greenwich Gets New Podcast

grenpodcastlogo.jpg

Today sees/hears the launch of a new podcast covering the Greenwich area (presumably the whole borough, as it's aimed at locals as well as tourists). Episode 1 features the history of brewing in Greenwich, an interview with comedian Tim Key, a slot about local guerilla gardening and a star turn by local blogger The Greenwich Phantom.

The monthly show is put together by Telegraph columnist Alex Mitchell, and is hammered into a pleasing aural shape by local company Testbed Productions. It's a welcome addition to the rather flimsy catalogue of London-themed podcasts (we can only think of the Hackney Podcast, but please speak up in the comments if you can recommend others). It's available on iTunes now, or you can also follow them on Twitter.
