Belgo, the renowned Moules, Frites and Beer restaurant, is offering Londonist readers a chance to win a free “Wednesday Night Pilgrimage” for two next month to celebrate Oktoberfest.  Three Belgo restaurants (Belgo Centraal in Covent Garden, Belgo Noord in Chalk Farm and Belgo Kingsway) will be putting on Beer & Food pairing masterclasses - hosted by Belgo’s very own habit-wearing “Master of Beer”. The classes take place at 7pm each Wednesday throughout October.  Each session will be a communal affair, with seats allocated on long tables and will be a great opportunity to meet other beer and food lovers.  “Pilgrimages” cost £33 and include a three course menu with each course paired to specially selected beer from Belgo’s eclectic cellar of Trappist brews, Abbey and Lambic beers, many of which are still made by Monks today.

The specially prepared masterclass dishes include a Champagne, duck and truffle terrine starter paired with De Koninck Blonde; carbonnade of braised beef cooked in Faro beer and served with Witcap Stimulo beer; and pear poached in raspberry beer served with lemon sorbet and Floris Apple beer.

Simply quote “Wednesday Night Pilgrimage” when booking at any of the following restaurants:

Belgo Centraal: 50 Earlham Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9LJ (T: 020 7813 2233)

Belgo Noord: 72 Chalk Farm Road, Chalk Farm, London, NW1 8AN (T: 020 7267 0718)

Belgo Kingsway: 67 Kingsway, Holborn, London, WC2B 6TD (T: 020 7242 7469)

To win the place for two, leave a comment below by the 30th of September begging us to pick you. Responses with religious tones will be highly approved of.
