Tottenham To Sign William Gallas?

In what would be one of the more unusual transfers of the summer, Spurs are just a single scrawled signature away from obtaining the services of French defender and free agent William Gallas. The 32-year old has spent the past four years at Arsenal, but walked away from a deal tabled by the Gunners when his contract expired at the end of last season. It was only nine years ago that Sol Campbell earned himself a lifetime's worth of hatred in N17 when he walked away from Spurs and signed for free with Arsenal; should he join Tottenham, Gallas can expect no less a rude awakening upon his return to the Emirates clad in lilywhite.
