Mail Arrives 16 Years Late In Crystal Palace

postbox_030810.jpg Remember those halcyon days when the mail arrived before you left for school or work? If you live at certain addresses in Crystal Palace, do you remember when it arrived at all? Royal Mail have been delivering some 2,000 letters - some posted as far back as 1994 - that were discovered at a house in Dulwich, thought to be connected to a former postal worker. We're not sure if this counts as tampering with the Queen's mail (or even whether that's an urban myth rather than a law) but the local press is reporting some households trying to track down former residents to reunite them with their ancient bills and birthday cards.
