Last Minute Listing: Jolly Boys @ The 100 Club

The Jolly Boys Although it's not the sunniest of London summer days, tonight The Jolly Boys bring a slice of Jamaica to the always sweltering 100 Club. Making mento music now for over 60 years, the group first started out as the house band for Errol Flynn on Port Anthonio's Navy Island.

Now they're releasing a brand new album which begins with a suitably 'jolly' cover of Amy Winehouse's 'Rehab' that makes us forget how many times we've heard the original and giggle along to the 72 year old lead singers sheer joy at singing it. They sold out their Bush Hall show last night, but there's a few left for tonight priced at £12.50. Much recommended.
