Superb news for fans of London on film. The Museum of London Docklands are to screen four classic Ealing comedies, all for free. Just turn up on the day.

The films will be shown on the last Sunday of every month, stacking up like this:

Hue and Cry (1947), U

Sunday, 29 August, 14.00 - 15.30

Passport to Pimlico (1949), U

Sunday, 26 September, 14.00 - 15.30

The Ladykillers (1955), U

Sunday, 28 November, 14.00 - 15.30

The Lavender Hill Mob (1951), U

Sunday, 30 January, 14.00 - 15.30

Of course, these gems are best seen on the big screen, but for those who just can't wait, a few box sets are available containing the best of Ealing Studios.
