A Hymn to London Bridge

A theremin
Don't panic if you're crossing London Bridge next week and hear an eerie, haunting, ethereal sound emanating from beneath the span, that makes you hum the Beach Boys' Good Vibrations: it's just a man with a theremin. Nick Franglen, of Lemon Jelly, will spend 24 hours next Thursday on a walkway beneath the bridge's arches, manning a theremin connected to n invisible beam that will be unwittingly crossed by thousands of pedestrians; each cross will momentarily mute the music. Is it experimental art, collaborative musical experimentation, or something less laudable? We'll let you decide. Full details over at The Guardian.
