Preview: Real Food Market On The Southbank

realfoodmarket.jpg There seems to be some market or other around the Southbank Centre every week of late. Today sees the launch of the latest one - the Real Food Market organised by the Real Food Festival.

That’s the Real Food Market on the Southbank, you understand? Not the other Real Food Festival Market round the corner at Borough, and not the similarly titled called exactly the same Real Food Market at Covent Garden, or the new FoodLovers Market coming next week in Soho.

This particular market will run from Friday to Sunday on the first weekend of each month, with a sort-of-late-night stint tonight when it goes on until 8pm.

The line-up includes Chilli Chutney who’ll be selling curry, lassi, chai and samosas; Sugargrain’s summery gluten-free-but-you-wouldn’t-know-it cakes; Paul Wayne Gregory chocolates; Rude Health cereals; and cheeses from La Fromagerie; amongst plenty more of the usual and slightly less usual suspects.

The full list of stallholders is on the Real Food Festival website.
