DLR Strike Days Announced

dlrstrike.jpg A trio of one-day strikes on the Docklands Light Railway has been announced. Workers attached to the RMT will walk out on the 23rd and 27th of July, and again on August 6th. The beef this time round is with what the RMT calls "increased workload" following the recent introduction of three-car trains on the Bank - Lewisham branch; the union thinks its members deserve a pay bump, but Serco, who operate the line, don't necessarily agree. It's not the first time this summer that they've fallen out over the issue. Any DLR workers or knowledgeable types out there able to tell us exactly what this increased workload actually entails?
