"Sustainable" and "fashion" may appear to be two terms set at odds with each other, but Bethnal Green Road's latest addidtion seeks to marry these wayward bedfellows with a cutting edge love-in at the 123 store, opening this week.

Stocking a whole host of clobber, from leggings to jackets to twin-peaked headwear that David Lynch would be proud of and some very covetable finged leather heels, every item shows the stamp of the store's philosophy of reconstruction and customisation. Being Shoreditch there's a whole host of frocks just like grandma used to make too. Even the building has been upcycled, transforming a three floor, Grade 2 listed building into a sleek but characterful designer haven.

Future plans are to run contemporary collections from the store's own line, as well as from collaborations with the London's newest fashion talent. As well as this, Dr Noki has taken over a whole floor to showcase the new NHS diffusion line - as worn by Johnny Woo at Lovebox - with a series of unique garments aimed for the catwalk or those with enough balls to wear them, and soon-to-be-seen-everywhere NHS admission bracelets.

123 is at 123 Bethnal Green Road, E2 7DG (on the corner of Brick Lane).
