Vote For The Goat Race Hosts

Best loved by us for its brilliant annual goat race, Spitalfields City Farm has reached the semi-finals of the National Lottery Awards for its rare breeds in the city project. A £50k grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund enabled them to buy rare breed sheep and chickens as well as equipment to look after them and to invite the local community in to learn about the animals. The award is now finished but the project continues and the farm hopes to hatch the next generation of rare breed chickens next year.
