Too Sweaty For Harrods

harrodssweaty.jpg Harrods' door policy scuppered two runners on the scout for rehydration and a snack last Friday on the grounds that they were excessively sweaty after a 20 mile run. Whilst 'sweat' isn't detailed on the dress code, it forbids "athletic singlets, cycling shorts and dirty or “unkempt” clothing." The indignant runners made a a fuss and, after checking with a manager (presumably one of the calibre to earn a BA Hons in Sales), they were granted entry to the hallowed shopping hall. Why on earth you'd hit Harrods for a Highland Spring and a cheese 'n' tomato is beyond us but woo hoo for consumer rights and equal access. Or something. Sweaty Bettys, be warned.
