Tomorrow Is Canada Day

canadadaylogo.jpg Canada is 143 tomorrow and there's an all day party in Trafalgar Square to celebrate. "O' Canada" will resound around the Square at 10.30am before the "dropping of the puck" by His Excellency James Wright, High Commissioner for Canada. Customise your trashed St George flags to show solidarity with the patriots and be prepared for all the Canadian stereotypes: poutine (delicious but not a healthy lunch), street hockey, maple syrup and mounties. All the fun is free and goes on till 10.15pm. Doubtless the Maple Leaf will still have the Molson flowing if you haven't had enough of the Canadian Club by then.
