Earl's Court street fair 2009 - catch this year's event on Sunday
Earl's Court Festival grew from a one day street fair into a month long community arts festival, showcasing the best of local talent, local business and local venues. It starts on Friday and runs till 31st July.

Look, read, do, listen cleverly categorises the events. We'll be bringing you plenty of free highlights in London on the Cheap each week but here's some other stuff to watch out for:

  • Listen out for local musicians busking playing late afternoons outside Earl's Court Station as part of Vox Boxx Live
  • Flex your biceps for the Chas' American Style Arm Wrestling at O'Neill's 326 Earl's Court Road 7pm-11p (£5 Contest Entry) on 14 July
  • Enjoy Summer Soul outdoors in Courtfield Gardens East on 21 July from 6pm (£7/5)
  • You're in for a big surprise at the Teddy Bears' Picnic in Brompton Cemetery on 24 July, £2.50
  • Take a leaf out of Slow London with a session on the Slow Movement with Hayley Cull, Ed Gillespie and the Youth Food Network on 25 July at St Mary the Boltons, 3pm, £5
