Sound and Silents @ Kings Place

Kings Place Image.jpg Sound and Silents is an exclusive season of collaborations curated by champions of women filmmakers, Birds Eye View (BEV). These innovative, cross-arts events fuse specially commissioned live scores, written and performed by cutting edge female artists, with stunning silent films starring some iconic leading ladies.

Taking place in May at London's new creative hub Kings Place, the programme is showcasing four silent films accompanied by performances from The Elysian Quartet, Juice, Mercury Award nominated Zoe Rahman and classical cellist Natalie Clein.

Also in the series, is a discussion entitled 'Women Make Music: Female Music Creators and the Gender Gap', headed up by affable journalist/broadcaster and BEV regular, Miranda Sawyer.
