If you're a bit worn out from Camden Crawling over the weekend, then we'd like to remind you that the best way to recover from gig-going is to get to another gig. Go on, then:

Start the week off by showing your lust for life (sorry) with the second date of Iggy and the Stooges at the Hammersmith Apollo. If you want something a little more pop, Pope Joan will be at the Notting Hill Arts Club.

Former Pipette Rose Elinor Dougall continues with her solo endeavours at the Borderline on Tuesday. If you're in a party mood, however, head to the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen for the Standon Calling pre-party, featuring North Atlantic Oscillation and Filthy Dukes amongst others.

Techno-folk sisters CocoRosie will be at Union Chapel on Tuesday and Wednesday, supporting their latest album, Grey Oceans. You've got two chances to check them out, so no excuses. Wednesday also sees singer-songwriter Dry the River and acoustic pop band Drugstore at the ICA.

Thursday will spoil you for choice, so take advantage. If you don't have a ticket to the sold out National show at Royal Albert Hall, use this opportunity acquaint yourself with something a little lower key. Erland and the Carnival are at the Hoxton Bar and Kitchen; catch them now before their string of dates at Royal Albert Hall later this month opening for Paul Weller. The acoustic chamber pop of Woodpigeon (not to be confused with London's most common bird) is at Union Chapel. American roots musician Paul Curreri is at Cargo. If none of these mellow options appeal, you can rock out with Ten City Nation at 229. Or if you're not feeling all that intrepid, the Twilight Sad, whom we've shown our love for, will be at Hammersmith Apollo.

We'll keep your weekend options a bit simpler, because there are exciting things happening next week that you need to get ready for. So catch Edinburgh electro-poppers Bang Bang Club at the Monarch on Friday, and if you didn't catch them on Monday you've got one more chance to see Pope Joan on Saturday at the Rest is Noise.
