Why didn't we think of this idea? Ask Londoners to write short poems to their favourite (or otherwise) Tube station, and submit beautiful images to sit alongside.
Alight Here takes this simple but compelling idea as its sole purpose. It's a brand new site, so there's currently not much there, although we did enjoy this oddly spelled paean to Edgware:
Beware the edge at Edgeware
And mind the prickly hedge where
Napoleon apparently sat there
On his way to somewhere;
Anywhere other than Edgeware.
