As long time fans of stylish little Tsuru on Canvey Street, we're more than chuffed to announce the opening of the Japanese restaurant's second location, this one at 201 Bishopsgate (EC2M 3UG). The restaurant's launch last Thursday was anything but soft with Kodo drummers thundering the news that City workers, commuters and East End folk now have a brilliant new dining option.
Londonist has yet to have a proper sit down at the shiny new Tsuru (but we were impressed will the samples received at the launch). And if the sushi's as fresh and katsu's as savoury as at Tsuru's first eatery, it will be a no brainer to recommend. Tasty Japanese food easily within reach of Liverpool Street Station? Treat!
