This Friday (30 April), travel to 1968's erotic vision of the 40th century via the Curzon's Soho location from 10pm. Accompany the scantily clad Barbarella (played by Jane Fonda) as she stumbles about her spaceship, learns the joys of old-fashioned sex, seduces an angel, and almost dies from pleasure at the hands of the evil Dr. Durand-Durand and his Excessive torture device.

Yes, it is a bit silly, but the '60s/space age/erotica' dress code does provide an adequate excuse for ladies to don their favourite leotard-legging combinations, for guys to groom their chest hair and show it off (body hair is 100% supported on the Planet SoGo), and for anyone to dust off the old ray gun.

The event, which is sponsored by Jameson Whiskey and SCI-FI LONDON, will feature themed cocktails, free Jameson cocktails for the first 80 attendees, music from Alexander's Festival Hall & Shelton DJ tag team, and a live performance from Suri Sumatra. The film will begin at 11:30pm. Tickets are £8 in advance and £12 at the door. Visit the Curzon Cinemas' website for further information and to buy tickets.
