It's a pop-up. But one with a political twist. Bompas and Parr's Parliamentary Waffle House opened last night near Carnaby Street offering the Soho populace an “election based” menu of food and drink. In case our preview wasn't convincing enough for you to cast a deciding vote as to whether or not to pay a visit, here are a few pics from last night's opening. Londonist enjoyed our waffle and beer even though the items' alignment with one of UK's three major political parties weren't necessarily aligned with this Londonista's particular views. Conservative waffle, Labour waffle or Lib Dem waffle? You decide. Gimmicky? Yes. But fun and fairly tasty too.

The Parlimentary Waffle House is located at 65-67 Broadwick Street and open Monday through Saturday from noon to 11pm (licensed to serve alcohol on Wednesday through Saturday). Events listings and tickets are available through the Bompas & Parr website, www.jellymongers.co.uk.
