Guerilla Art, Now

Ever wondered why the amazing graffiti on the walls at the East end of Great Eastern Street changes so rapidly? We had, and yesterday we bumped in to two blokes painting over the last installation, which, it turns out they had also painted for a corporate client (the name of which they prefer we don’t mention here). They were commissioned to paint it and then remove it after just a few days. Guerilla art, eh?

    Hello mate

Funny enough I had taken a picture of that one myself and I showed them and asked if it was them; it wasn’t, but they knew who it was – a German artist I think, but I forget their name. Quality stuff though.

Apparently by “Case, Akut and Typism” according to a fellow who let me know. Agreed though, great stuff.
