One Dead In Euston Fire

A fire at a block of flats beside Euston station has left one person dead. The blaze began early this morning in Grafton Place, and at its height, 60 firefighters were at the scene battling the flames. Aside from the one fatality, all other occupants of the block have been accounted for. The fire comes amidst renewed fears over the safety of ageing housing stock, after a number of tragedies over recent months, most notably the Lakanal House fire, which left six dead.
