London Brawling vs Texas Hustlers: Roller Derby @ Excel

A Fistful of Rollers saw the London Rollergirls’ London Brawling team take on their first transatlantic bout this weekend, facing up to the fearsome Texas Hustlers.

Photographer, Ryan Hayes, says “It was an intense match and incredibly close (tied at several points throughout most of the bout) with the Hustlers finally pulling ahead to win 84-63.” Congratulations to the London Rollergirls for showing the founders of the modern roller derby scene a rough and tumble time and here’s to many more fierce intercontinental bouts!
