Will you be sitting here in 2012?

Following forum style consultation with you, dear Londoners, the London Assembly today presented a document to LOCOG asking for clarification on 2012 ticket allocations, pricing, accessibility and availability.

Specifically, the Assembly wants to know how many freebies will be dished out to LOCOG folks, sponsors and visiting dignitaries plus what’ll be made available for high-end corporate hospitality. They’re also asking what will be done for local people and those on low-incomes and just how much Ticketmaster might be poised to make on sales for the whole thing. Download and read the very manageable doc for yourself here.

London’s 2012 bid mooted “4.3 million £20 tickets and 6.2 million tickets to be sold for less than £30.” These ambitions have yet to be confirmed but LOCOG is due to make an announcement on ticketing once the Vancouver Winter Paralympic Games conclude.
