Last Minute Listing: Nowrooz @ the Ritzy

To celebrate the Iranian New Year the Ritzy in Brixton is hosting a screening of the incredibly brilliant docu-film No One Knows About Persian Cats. The film follows the fortunes of a young couple, Ash and Negar, in the Iranian underground music scene, and is compulsive viewing. The screening is to be chased up with a performance by the subjects of the film - Take it Easy Hospital - with a nightcap from DJ Shahram. The event kicks off at 7.30pm, and you can buy tickets here: standard adult admission is £9.00.
