Twitter is abuzz with news that a fire and flood in Paddington telephone exchange has knocked out land lines in large areas of North-West London. Lord's cricket ground, near St John's Wood, are among those affected and report that service could be disrupted for up to 24 hours. The dialing codes of doom can be found here (assuming you can get onto the Internet). As communications are being switched to other exchanges, lines in other areas may also get bunged up due to high demand. Hmm, better get this post out quick before we're affected...
