The Cinema Museum Fundraising Weekender

In the days before Esure
We drew your attention to the precarious plight of The Cinema Museum last year. This weekend, the quality of the collection draws heavyweight film bods to Kennington for a weekend of film buff fundraising. Michael Winner opens proceedings at 10am on Saturday, starting up a monster film and movie memorabilia bazaar laced round with signings, talks and screenings featuring The Spy Who Loved Me helicopter pilot Caroline Munro, Chaplin expert Kevin Brownlow, child star Muriel Pavlow and husky voiced actress Fenella Fielding.

Dealers will flock from far and wide to punt movie posters, DVDs, film stills, films, equipment, books and more to those of you who love cinema. You can 'bring and buy' your own movie collectables, meet other devotees and there's the all important raffle. Crucially, it's an opportunity to see what The Cinema Museum has to offer and to help it secure its future.

The Film and Movie Memorabilia Bazaar is on Saturday 27 & Sunday 28 February, 10.00am to 5.00pm at The Cinema Museum, Masters House, 2 Dugard Way, SE11. Admission on the day is £5 and £3 on the second day,
with first day ticket.
