Preview: James Murphy DJ Set @ East Village

Shoreditch dance hotspot East Village tonight welcomes back LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy for a rare DJ set. Yes, it's a Thursday night, but if you can disguise your dark bags tomorrow morning then this is one night worth risking a hangover for. Hosted by Magic & Medicine, James last visited the night when launching LCD's Sounds of Silver album in 2007. This time round he promises a 'special disco version' style DJ set and perhaps glimpses of the new LCD album which will be fully shown off for the first time in London when the band play two sold out dates at Brixton Academy in April. Joining him on the decks are London's own Skull Juice and Dan from Disco Bloodbath. Doors are from 9.30 and tickets will set you back £11.
