Preview: 3D Soundclash @ The Royal Albert Hall

Redbull On Thursday night the first ever music event to be held in the cavernous loading bay of The Royal Albert Hall will take place. The event, which is a part of the Red Bull Music Academy, sees this 138 year old venue turned into a multi-dimensional sound and vision experience in which the audience are immersed in an aural landscape.

The full line up will see Plaid DJ, The Bug with Flow Dan & Daddy Freddy, Clark, DJ Food, Mira Calix, and King Cannibal battle it out beneath this iconic music landmark, to an audio-visual display that sounds unlike anything we have ever heard of before.

Billed as an audio version of Avatar, in which sound will literally be controlled from left to right, front to back, over and under through the 3D Audioscape, fans will be immersed in a visual experience where, we're told, they will be able to ‘see the sound in the space’

3D soundclash happen this Thursday, 18 Feb from 8pm. Tickets are £10 in advance; £15 at doors available here.
